Youth Minister

Tom was born and raised in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He started playing liturgical music when he was 16 and led various liturgical music groups throughout college. After receiving a B.A. in Mathematics and Philosophy from Eastern Michigan University, Tom completed his pre-theology studies in Detroit, and earned a B.Phil., as a seminarian for the Diocese of Lansing, Michigan. He continued his studies as a lay minister at St. Meinrad, IN, and earned his Master of Theological Studies in 2007.  He is currently pursuing Post-Master Certificates in Liturgy and Scripture from St. Meinrad’s School of Theology.

Tom has worked as a Director of Religious Education, Director of Liturgical Music, and Youth Minister, as well as has led several parish workshops and retreats on the Liturgy, Catholic Life in the modern culture, and Vatican II.  He has led retreats for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis lay formation (E.L.M.) program on the spirituality of the Sacraments.  He has also been a part-time lecturer at several Catholic institutions.

Tom currently works as a theology teacher at St. Xavier High School, Louisville, and Youth Minister at St. Romuald Parish, Hardinsburg, KY.
